Accommodations for IowaWORKS Services
Individuals in need of accommodations to participate in in‑person or virtual services from IowaWORKS (including the use of computers, participating in workshops, or other job activities) should connect with their local IowaWORKS center. Each IowaWORKS center is equipped with the appropriate tools, trained staff, and processes to assist with accessibility needs. These accommodations include:
- Auxiliary aids and assistive technology
- Support for individuals with hearing, vision, or speech disabilities
- ADA support within office and physical meeting spaces
Individuals with disabilities can request an accommodation for IowaWORKS services by emailing access@iwd.iowa.gov.
All Other Agency Accommodation Requests
Individuals with other accommodations requests for Iowa Workforce Development, which include:
- Requesting an accessible version (or different format) of a file, document, or form
- Reporting an accessibility issue with the agency website or agency materials
