Read more about how 43 North Iowa worked with Iowa Blueprint for Change (IBC) to help improve accessibility and the quality of their service delivery.
Since the Iowa Blueprint for Change (IBC) has been implemented, 43 North Iowa has reaped many benefits of the DIF grant reimbursement process. We were able to beef up our outreach efforts by decreasing the caseload of the IPS Supervisor, promoting a part-time IPS employment specialist to full-time. The IBC DIF grant reimbursement also allowed us to confidently hire another full-time employment specialist in July of 2024 to eliminate our wait list for IPS services.
We were also able to increase the number of staff sent to the 2024 Iowa APSE Conference, sending our entire IPS team to learn best practices in employment services in the state of Iowa. This was truly an amazing opportunity as trainings can become costly for an agency, especially one that has grown as much as ours has.
The IBC project has helped improve the accessibility and quality of our service delivery. We also saw an increase in our IPS Fidelity score for 2024, hearing from state Fidelity reviewers that our program is leading the charge of IPS in Iowa.
Weβre honored to partner with IBC and participate in the DIF Grant. Thank you for all you have done to help 43 North Iowa grow our IPS Program and increase the amount of individuals served across the state!
