Iowa Workforce Development continues to look for new ways for help Iowans with disabilities find opportunities for career advancement, including in some of the state's most proven workforce programs.
Through the work of the Iowa Blueprint for Change (IBC) grant, a new Registered Apprenticeship (RA) is available to do just that!
The RA program for Direct Support Employment Specialists offers an earn while you learn experience that helps Iowans become professionals in the same field that helps individuals disabilities find meaningful employment.
The program offers comprehensive training, career advancement, and a supportive community to help create one of the most important professions we can foster in Iowa's workforce.
