What are Pre-ETS?

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are activities for students with disabilities. It provides an early start at job exploration. It also assists with making decisions about post-secondary education or employment.

Some of the Pre-ETS activities that we provide include: 

  • Job Exploration Counseling allows you to learn about different career options. You also learn work skills needed to be successful.
  • Work-Based Learning Experiences connects you to real-life work activities and future career options.
  • Counseling on Opportunities gives you guidance on post-secondary education and training opportunities.
  • Workplace Readiness Training helps you develop employability, social, and independent living skills.
  • Instruction in Self-Advocacy teaches you self-advocacy skills. These skills are needed in education, work, and community settings.

You can take part in Pre-ETS activities if you are eligible or potentially eligible.
