The Iowa Apprenticeship Council is a five-member, Governor-appointed council tasked with supporting the functions of the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship.

First established in 2025, the council advises the efforts of the statewide office, serving as advocates and liaisons for expanding Registered Apprenticeship opportunities in Iowa.

Representatives on the first Iowa Apprenticeship Council come from several key areas that collectively help create our workforce pipeline, including high schools, building and trades, and other high-demand industries.
