Reminders About Workplace Posters
Employer posters are an important piece for ensuring a safe and fair workplace. The following page serves as a resource for links to the most common posters and their requirements. While several posters are required, not all posters may apply to your business.
Please note the following:
- Posters for the workplace are subject to change and requirements can vary.
- IWD does not attest to the accuracy of any poster. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure they have the most accurate poster available from the correct state and federal entity.
- Not all employers are covered by each statute and may not be required to post a specific notice.
- For example, some small businesses may not be covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act and would not be subject to its posting requirements.
For more information about poster requirements and compliance, visit the U.S. DOL elaws FirstStep Poster Advisor or the U.S. DOL Poster Page.
March 2025 Update
Iowa Workforce Development is currently reviewing its federal resources as several posters are undergoing revisions due to recent executive orders.
Links to individual posters are available on this page. However, poster deliveries and pickups for the “All-in-one” posters have been paused so that revisions can be made. More information will be posted once available.
