Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) helps Iowans aged 55 and over with limited income find jobs. The program offers paid training opportunities, such as on-the-job training at non-profit organizations and community service assignments. These opportunities help participants transition to regular jobs available across Iowa.

SCSEP might be right for you if:

  • You are an adult aged 55 or over
  • You have limited income
  • You are looking for job opportunities
  • You need to upgrade your skills to meet current demand
