Iowa Workforce Development and its Vocational Rehabilitation Services Division are highlighting National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) during the month of October, and the many contributions and talents that Iowans with disabilities bring to our workforce.
Earlier this year, Iowa's Vocational Rehabilitation Services reorganized to become a division under Iowa Workforce Development as part of the state's efforts to align all workforce-related programs. This move will help provide more opportunities and improved services for the Iowans we serve.
IWD and its Vocational Rehabilitation Services division will be highlighting stories, events, and news throughout the month of October to talk about how Iowans with disabilities can find meaningful employment. Visit the links below, and stay tuned for more information on this page.
