The IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center will appear at a special hiring event at Camp Dodge to help Veterans find the next step in their careers. More details are below.
On March 12th, Camp Dodge will host several events for military members who are returning to the state following basic training. Veterans and spouses are also invited to attend. As part of the day's events, a career fair will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with nearly 30 employers invited.
Prior to the career fair, the mobile workforce center will be available on-site from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Two Home Base Iowa career planners will be available to assist soldiers with registering in IowaWORKS, developing a resume, and connecting them with employment opportunities.
