Cities: About Home Base Iowa Cities

Description

Muscatine County is located on the east side of Iowa, right next to the Mississippi River. It was established in 1833 and named after the Mascoutin Indian tribe. Here in Muscatine, we have plenty of entertainment from listening to a symphony, to bowling, to watching all the high school sports teams. In the town of Muscatine, there is plenty of shopping at our local boutiques and a variety of food at our amazing restaurants. In April 2015, Muscatine County became a Home Base Iowa community.
