Description

Founded in 1851, Sioux County was named after the Native American tribe, Sioux. The Sioux County Historical Site provides a good place for hiking or bird watching. The Sioux Center Heritage Village includes historic buildings and replicates of early day structures. As a Home Base Community since October 2015, Sioux County has a strong commitment to veteran job placement, health care and education.
