Description

Taylor county is the hub of the Midwest. Within a two hour travel you can be in a big city, but you are close enough to be able to come home to small town Iowa where everyone knows your name and waves to you on the street! Founded in 1847, Taylor County was named after the 12th President of the United States, Zachary Taylor. Taylor County is home to the Taylor County Historical Museum including a 110-year-old log cabin, a schoolhouse, a print shop and more. The Ladoga Lablanche Orchards is also a fun, interactive place to take the family.
