Catch Iowa's Workforce Agency at the Iowa State Fair!

The Iowa State Fair is here! From August 8 – 18, 2024, Iowa Workforce Development will have its agency booth in the Varied Industries building where you can connect with staff and share your dream job. Along with that, the IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center will also be at the fair to showcase the many career options that Iowans have with the help of IowaWORKS. Each day, the Mobile Workforce Center will feature a new theme focused on different areas of the workforce and the appropriate staff to help.

Iowa Workforce Development Booth
Located in the NW Corner of Varied Industries Building (just off the Grand Course)

• Includes agency resources, "What is Your Dream Job?" Chalkboard, A "Wheel of Jobs" game, handouts and swag.

IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center
(East of Gate 10, next to Sky Glider West)

• Includes access to the Mobile Workforce Center and resources for Iowans to discover their next career path. Fairgoers can register on iowaworks.gov, build their resume, attend a workshop, and much more.
• Each day at the Mobile Workforce Center will include a new theme that highlights a different area of the workforce, including a day Health Care Careers, Truck Drivers, Veterans, and more!
