The start of each new year also marks the start of another legislation session. For Iowa Blueprint for Change (IBC), this makes for an important time to engage and educate the Iowans who shape the future policy for our workforce.
IBC was a key partner at the State Rehabilitation Council’s legislative reception, an annual gathering in the Capitol Rotunda of partners, staff, and legislators that’s focused on creating better employment outcomes for Iowans with disabilities.
To showcase this impact firsthand, IBC also hosted Dawson, a job candidate from Eastern Iowa, whose story proves that having disability doesn’t need to limit one’s potential for meaningful work. Together with our partners, IBC’s efforts are showing how Employment First is possible all across Iowa!
